Hotel The Velvet - Berlin

Hotel The Velvet - Berlin

12/11/2007

In one of the most vibrant areas of Berlin centre, where creativity, culture and art come together, and hidden behind a high-tech glass façade,
nestles a warm and cosy hotel. All rooms and suites are decorated in a unique style and design – clear, distinctive and uncomplicated.

The modern interior is presented in warm colours, simple shapes and sensuous details. As soon as you enter the hotel you can
feel the unique atmosphere; modern and vibrant – like Berlin, warm and sensual – like velvet.

For the majority of the rooms, a very special concept has been developed by designer Harald Schreiber. Immediately upon entering the room you feel the openness and light just as if you were standing in a loggia. The red leather bed head and the writing desk surface contrast with the black-brown wooden finishing and warm dark red of the carpet and the bed cover is made of printed velvet.
